QEffects and QPaintbox software packages require a PC that meets the following hardware requirements.

CPU: Minimum Dual Intel PIII 1.7GHz
Recommended dual Xeon 1.7HGZ or higher

OS: Microsoft® Windows 2000® or XP (Service Pack 2)

RAM: Minimum 512 MB
Recommended 1GB

HD: Mininimum 40 GB System Hard Drive formatted NTFS
(with 1 x 8GB system and 1 x 32GB project partition giving 14 minutes PAL SD workspace)
Recommended Separate project hard disk drive formatted NTFS

Graphics: AGP Graphics Card using the Radeon 9800 Pro chipset and 64Mb (or more) of DDR RAM
PCI-e graphics card using the ATI X800XT or ATI X800XL chipset

Other: CD-ROM or DVD Drive
1 free USB port
100BaseT Ethernet network adaptor, 1000Base Tx recommended
19” User monitor, min 1600 x 1200 display resolution
Wacom USB tablet and pen, minimum A5, recommended A4


QScribe has the following minimum PC requirements

• 1GHz Pentium III Processor
• 256 MB RAM
• Matrox G400/450 Video card or ATI Radeon 64Mb
• 5 GBytes of disk space
• Windows 2000 or XP (Service Pack 2)
